4. 7 Years practical experience in production of book in press/ publishing house. Skill in Typography and layout

Assistant Editor

Essential:

1. A Masters degree from a recognised university.
2. Proficiency in the specified language.
3. Good Knowledge of the literary scene of the specified language.
4. Working knowledge of English or Hindi.
5. 5 Years experience in editing, translating, proof reading and book production.

Desirable: Good knowledge of Indian literature and culture.

Production Assistant

Essential:

1. Matriculation pass or equivalent with three years Diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized Institute or A degree from a recognized university with two years Post graduate diploma in book publishing with specialization in book production.
2. Three years practical experience in production of books in a press/ publishing house of repute.

Desirable: a) Knowledge of Typography and layout.

Editorial Assistant

Essential:

1. A Bachelor Degree from a recognized University.
2. Proficiency in the specified language.
3. Working knowledge of English or Hindi.
4. Three years working experience in editing/ translating / proof reading.

Desirable: a) Master's degree.

6.

Accountant

Essential:

1. A degree from a recognized university.
2. 5 Years' experience in accounts/ book keeping in public sector organizations or private sector organizations of repute.

Desirable: Knowledge of Govt. Financial Rules.

7.

Senior Stenographer

Essential:

1. Matriculation with shorthand and typing speeds of 120 wpm in English and 100 wpm in Hindi and 45 wpm typewriting.
2. Training in word processing and secretarial practice including noting/ drafting handling of routine correspondence, files, appointments, engagement etc.

Essential:

Essential:

1. Master Degree of a recognised university or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level.
2. Desirable Degree or Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and Vice versa from a recognized university.

5 year’s experience of using/ applying terminology in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi vice versa preferable to technical literature.
